Social efforts

 

We work with outside partners to provide clothes and food to the community. 

Over a thousand people have received clothes through the project

We manage a soup kitchen, which feeds over a dozen people every day and more than 70 people on the weekends.

We created a children's Afro Cuban dance group, which has performed in events all through the city. More than 20 kids and teenagers are a part of the group.

We support a soccer and a baseball team, including their sports equipment and the repairs on the course.

We opened a laundranette, which employs single mothers.

We restore the local primary school and clinic.

 

Other ventures: 

We bring donations and perform for the kids at William Soler Children’s Hospital and the orphanage in La Lisa municipality.

We work with Ceda (Cubans in Defense of Animals). We have done three sterilization campaigns with them.

Through partners, we have done several workshops on the use of diva cups, as an alternative to the high prizes of tampons, including donations of dozens of cups.

We manage a drawing workshop every Saturday for the kids.

We support individual necessities of members of the community, including housing issues, brazers, glasses, etc.

 

 

Clean Beaches, Healthy Future: Conserving Our Environment

Our "Clean Beaches, Healthy Future" initiative organizes beach clean-up days in Havana. This project not only removes trash and plastics that threaten our marine life, but also raises community awareness about the importance of environmental conservation. It is crucial for protecting our marine ecosystems and ensuring a healthy environment for future generations.
